Desk Detour License Agreement

TL;DR;

• You may use Desk Detour freely for personal purposes.
• You may not modify, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the software.
• Donations are optional and do not change this license.

This License Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Desk Detour, represented by Alamin Shaikh ("Licensor"), and you, the user ("Licensee"), regarding the use of the Desk Detour desktop application (the "Software"). By downloading, installing, or using the Software, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

1. Grant of License

The Licensor grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to use the Desk Detour desktop application, under the following terms:

• Use the app for personal purposes.
• Install and run the app on any number of devices owned or controlled by you.
• Make optional donations without receiving any exclusive rights or additional privileges.

2. Restrictions

The Licensee shall not:

• Modify, adapt, reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on Desk Detour.
• Distribute, resell, or sublicense the app to others.
• Use Desk Detour in violation of any laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the app.

3. Ownership and Intellectual Property

The Licensor retains all ownership and intellectual property rights in and to Desk Detour. This Agreement does not grant the Licensee any ownership rights to the Software, its source code, or related assets.

4. Warranty and Disclaimer

DESK DETOUR IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DESK DETOUR AND ITS CREATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Bangladesh.

7. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Licensee and the Licensor regarding the subject matter herein and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, or warranties.
